Amazing Grace (Vocals)

This iconic Christian Hymn is arranged by Jay Althouse for solo soprano voice and piano, and written by John Newton.  One of the most recognizable songs in the English speaking world, this arrangement is very introspectively done without too much embellishment of the melody.  The piano accompaniment has a bell like quality set in 3/4 time that speaks to the direct simplicity and grace of the text.  Additional vocal harmony appears in the third verse, helping to bring this spiritually unifying hymn to a close.
