Novela is a spanish/classical guitar solo that evokes sentimentality and contemplation in the beginning section.. The middle section picks up in tempo and creates a delightful change of mood and character into an a playful and charming respit, then moves back into the original mood within the slower tempo. Novela is a solid and well crafted, moving piece of guitar literature encompassing a variety of moods and melodrama. Like a short novel should do...hence "Novela".
