A warm, romantic, operatic aria without words in the late Romantic, Italian tradition. A slow waltz that begins peacefully and grows to a passionate conclusion. Reminiscent of Mascagni's Intermezzo used in Raging Bull and The Godfather III. Excellent for scenes of high romance or of opulence.
